Description

A gentle, ancient cleanse that nourishes while it purifies. The Shatadhauta Ghrita (100-times-washed ghee) prevents stripping, even for sensitive skin.

Fermented jaggery delivers lactic acid exfoliation that chemically loosens dead cells before the almond meal and walnut shell powder lift them away; it is effective without aggression.

Works as both a morning cleanser and a deeper weekly mask. Mix with water for a quick cleanse, or leave on for 10-15 minutes as a full exfoliating treatment.

Key Ingredients

Shatadhauta Ghrita (100× washed ghee) — nourishes and protects the skin barrier as it cleanses. Sweet Almond Meal — a gentle physical exfoliant that lifts without scratching. Fermented Jaggery delivers lactic acid to dissolve dead-cell bonds before any physical exfoliation begins. Walnut Shell Powder — a finer physical exfoliant for polishing. Lactobacillus Ferment rebalances the surface microbiome post-cleanse.

How To Use

As a daily cleanser: take a half-pea amount, mix with a few drops of water to form a paste, massage in gentle circles for 30–60 seconds, rinse warm.

As a weekly mask: mix ½ teaspoon with water or rose water into a smooth paste, apply to clean dry skin, leave for 10–15 minutes, then massage gently and rinse. Suitable for face and body.

A Luminous Reveal,
not a stripping

In Ayurveda, the act of cleansing is never one of removal alone. For thousands of years, classical preparations were designed to nourish the skin throughout the process — feeding the barrier even as they cleared it. At the foundation of this paste is Shatadhauta Ghrita — ghee washed one hundred times in cool water by hand, each pass refining it into a silky, penetrating emulsion — and slow-cooked herb-infused sesame oil. The skin is nourished throughout, never stripped.

The exfoliation works in two registers at once. Finely milled almond meal lifts dead cells with a gentleness that sensitive skin barely registers. Walnut shell powder reaches deeper — clearing impurities and refining texture. Then the jaggery: whole, unrefined sugarcane, fermented by Lactobacillus to yield naturally occurring lactic acid — dissolving the intercellular bonds that hold dead cells together before the physical action even begins.

What follows is skin that is smoother, not raw. Gotu Kola supports collagen in skin that is now open and receiving. Moringa seed oil protects with antioxidant density. Squalane seals. This is the distinction that separates a classical Ayurvedic preparation from a modern exfoliant.

Classical base · Tila Taila · Herb-infused and slow-cooked

Slow-cooked and herb-infused, sesame oil is the great carrier of Ayurvedic medicine — warming, penetrating, and deeply compatible with the skin's own lipid profile. Draws the actives deep into the skin and provides a stable, antioxidant-rich base that protects against oxidative stress.
